About the Guthrie Dems
Our mission is to support and protect the human rights of all members of society, provide an excellent education for everyone, and create an opportunity for a decent standard of living for everyone.
We must never lose sight that everyone deserves:

a clean, sustainable, and energy-efficient environment

wholesome and nutritious foods

necessary clothing

adequate housing

high-quality affordable medical care and the necessary social services

the right to security in the event of circumstances beyond their control, such as international conflict, natural disaster, disease, disability, death of significant other, old age or other lack of livelihood.
We believe our government's duty is to protect these basic human rights of safety, economic security, social equality, and cultural diversity. In the spirit of our founders, we dedicate ourselves to the achievement of human dignity, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
